No one knows what terminal is standardised plainly everyone can feel its power, its magnitude and its presence. support and goal almost seem like riddles that most humans are incapable of comprehending and answering. Virginia Woolf, in her analyse ââ¬ËThe death of the mothââ¬â¢, has confronted this very issue- the vitality of tone and the pound of death. In this part narrative and part broody essay, the struggle of a day moth has been shown as its ââ¬Å"fallible and diminutive bodyââ¬Â succumbs to the enormity of death.\r\nThe moth being a ââ¬Å"tiny bead of pure lifeââ¬Â depicts the doughnut of life, ââ¬Å"he was little or nothing but lifeââ¬Â; strange how a mere moth too, is dictated by the energy and vigor of life as it tries to make its way through the window. The creation of reputation and lifeââ¬â¢s grandeur is always a wonder but that wonder slowly turns to grieve as the mothââ¬â¢s attempts seem to bear no fruit. The moth slowly stops moving and it appears as if the moth has presumptuousness up, death is gradually taking its hold on it. No matter how ââ¬Å"content with lifeââ¬Â the moth was, thither was no escaping death.\r\nWhen death approaches, thither is neither lead away nor any way of dodging it. Metaphors and similes hand over been used to present the clash surrounded by life and death along with attribution of human-like characteristics to the moth, gives a to a greater extent definite stance to the abstractness of life and death. The sentiments are show in a manner that moves the reader and leaves them view about the subject. The actions of the moth arouse sympathy from the readers, in step-up to expressing the impermanence of life all the while.\r\nAll the ardor and drive of life is shattered once death takes over. Woolfââ¬â¢s marvelous creation, this essay is simpl e and astute yet it manages to stir deep emotions in the readers say them to quietly reflect on the presented thought. The tension between life and death still prevails but there is no saying which one is more forceful- the feel and energy of life or the shadow of death- although in the essay, death seems to win in the end. ââ¬Å"Oh yes, he seemed to say, death is stronger than I am. ââ¬Â\r\n'
